What To See and Do:
There’s so much to experience when you visit the Ripley’s Aquarium in Toronto. It was the first time I ever experienced an aquarium this large. There is nothing like having shark swimming under your feet. My children were so excited about seeing the large tank where, sea turtles, sharks and fish swam freely. On top of seeing a variety of sea life when you arrive at the aquarium, there is also an area where you can touch tiny shrimp and sting rays. Interested in visiting other parts of Canada? Getting Hands-On With Sea Life:
Touching the sea life at the aquarium was very exciting for my children. Having hands-on things for children to do was a very unique part of our visit to the aquarium.
Children’s Exploration Area:
There was a children’s area available on the lower level where the dining area was also located. The children’s area had a water table for young children to play. There was also a climbing structure and slide available with views of the large fish tank.
Beautiful Sea Life:
There were so many beautiful sea animals displayed at the aquarium. From jellyfishes to a few clown fishes. As well as flatfishes, these are fishes with faces turned to the sky but also the type of fishes that can blend into the surroundings. It was also very interesting to learn about sea creatures I never saw or heard of before. The space is family-friendly with seating areas if you would like to stop and rest, especially if visiting with small children.
This aquarium is definitely worth a visit. The price to be honest is a little on the high side. On a visit a family of four could pay about $120.00 for the day. This is not including what you might pay for items in the gift shop. WARNING: You have to pass through the gift shop to exit the aquarium. If you’re traveling with children budget for a trip to this aquarium. You will not be disappointed. Click on the link here for more information about: Ripley Aquarium
