Always Packing Light:
I have always been the person to travel with my carry-on only. There is something so easy about getting on and off a plane without having to go check a bag or wait at the carousel after the plane lands. I find this has been the best way for me to travel whether it’s on a solo trip or a family trip to Italy with children. With that said everyone has to do what works for them and what works for their wallet. I personally refuse to pay the extra fees, considering the high cost of flights.
Where Are You Heading?:
The decision on what to add to your packing list depends on where you’re heading and the weather you will encounter there. From mild to hot weather, what you pack could make or break the entire trip. I usually travel to cool weather locations in autumn, so my list is filled with cozy items like scarves, hats and trenches. If you’re heading to a tropical location, your list will look different than mine. Which is why I also included a general packing guide to this blog post. If you are traveling during cooler months, this autumn guide will help you navigate your packing with out the hassle. Taking the stress out of decision-making and saving you money as you narrow things down to pack only what you need.
