Visiting Rome for more than a week may not be worthwhile for some people. But if you decided to come and explore this ancient city for few days, here are a few things to help you get started. If you’re traveling solo the Roma Pass is definitely for you. This blog post is for those traveling with family, especially those with young children. This will help you decide if the Roma Pass is worth it for you.
Roma Pass:
Why Do I Need It?
Traveling with family the Roma Pass definitely works best for families on a budget. In a family of four for example, purchasing two adult tickets means children under 17 years of age can ride public transportation for free. Children can also visit museums and archaeological sites with the adult ticket holder. It is important to remember to get a free ticket for the children when visiting the Coloseum, Roman Forum and museums. Even if you have the Roma Pass you cannot enter with children without this free ticket you get from the information desk at the museum or site.

Sounds like a pretty good deal! Would definitely consider getting it next time I’m in Rome! Hopefully it can give me some ideas of new places to check out
I think the Roma pass is worth it if you plan to spend a good few days in the city. I usually don’t go for them; but if you have a family, it may be more cost effective for sure.
Rome is for a long time on my bucket list 🙂
I would like to visit it one day 🙂
I’ve been to Rome 3 times and in none of them have I checked if it was worth the pass. Thanks for the tip. Next time I visit I’ll see if it’s worth it for me.
