Where is Lou Lou Located?
Lou Lou is located in the Chelsea area of Manhattan. You can visit the restaurant by getting there using the train, bus, taxi or Uber, my preference. When visiting Lou Lou you must make reservations in advance. This is one of those hotspots that is booked all weekend every weekend. If you do show up without a reservation prepare to wait 45 minutes to an hour. But it’s definitely worth the wait.
The Atmosphere When you Arrive:
The atmosphere of Lou Lou is elegant and chic. It’s low key French chic without being pretentious. Due to the pandemic there was outdoor seating which worked out great for me and my friends when we had brunch. The atmosphere at night for cocktails is also a vibe. The bar was packed and busy but the service was exceptional along with the food and drinks.
What you Can Eat:
When you visit Lou Lou take some time to review the brunch menu is definitely something to write home about. From eggs and potatoes to a well selected charcuterie board. The drinks range from mimosas to passionfruit caipirinha. The signature Lou Lou burger is a great hit as well as a French classic, steak frites.
Is it Worth a Visit?
After visiting Lou Lou a few times I have to say it’s definitely worth the visit every single time. From the food to the atmosphere it’s a place I look forward to visiting again when the weather gets warm. Looking for a French restaurant in New York City, Lou Lou is worth it.
